Choose what you want to do. We will point you toward a useful category and the details worth comparing.

YOUR STARTING POINT

Compact UV light

Compare 365nm and 395nm, then choose a body you can aim comfortably. A fluorescent response does not identify a stain.

04 / KNOW YOUR WAVELENGTH

Less guesswork.
More understanding.

The violet you see is not the whole story. Wavelength, filtering and the material all shape the result.

365 nm

Look for the response.

Often less visibly violet. A filtered configuration reduces visible spill, helping some fluorescent details stand out.

Explore 365nm ↗
395 nm

Start with a visible beam.

A more obvious violet glow for many close-range fluorescent checks. The subject still determines the response.

07 / KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

Quality is in
the specifics.

We bring the useful details forward: the exact light configuration, charging connection, controls and supplied package.

01

Match the model.

A family can contain different wavelengths, pack counts and lighting modes. Compare the selected version.

02

Read the rating.

Water resistance and power instructions belong to the exact product. Splash resistance is not immersion protection.

03

Keep the instructions.

Our B71 information sheet identifies its manufacturer, origin and printed compliance markings. A marking is not a blanket certificate.

08 / AN INFORMED CHOICE

Compare what
actually matters.

There is more than one good way to build a flashlight. Compare the configuration and power system before choosing.

09 / INSIDE DARKBEAM

More ways to see.
One clear purpose.

Explore our story ↗

Light changes what you can do. A white beam helps you find the next step. A UV source brings a fluorescent response into view. A headlamp leaves your hands free to finish the job. At DARKBEAM, our collection brings these different roles together, with portable formats that let you choose the light for the moment.

That choice starts with purpose. Our UV range spans 365nm and 395nm, from small cylindrical lights to larger multi-LED designs. Some 365nm configurations include a filter to reduce visible spill. Others offer adjustable focus or combine two wavelengths. These details matter more than treating every blacklight as the same product in a different shell.

A collection with room for different routines

A compact light can live beside a mineral collection, in a household inspection kit or with the equipment you carry regularly. A paired set gives you two separate tools. A dual-mode body keeps two functions together. We make those distinctions clear because the best configuration is the one that fits how you work, not simply the one with the longest feature list.

Beyond UV, the DARKBEAM range includes white-light flashlights, headlamps, colored-light models and infrared illuminators. Each has a specific role. White light supports ordinary visibility. Headlamps free your hands. Red light can be useful at a suitably low setting around dark-adapted observers. Infrared belongs with compatible receiving equipment; it is not a substitute for a visible walking light.

Small details that make a practical difference

Charging connections, clips, switch positions and pack contents affect everyday use. A pocket clip may make a light easier to keep close. A side switch may suit one-handed operation. A tilting headlamp can bring a beam onto nearby work. We encourage you to compare those concrete details, then check the exact selected package before purchasing.

Materials also serve a purpose. Many of our handheld configurations use aluminum bodies, while headlamp designs combine their lighting components with adjustable bands and housings suited to the format. Construction and care requirements remain model-specific. A water-resistance statement should never be stretched into a promise that every light can be immersed or treated the same way.

A documented identity, a useful point of view

The DARKBEAM name appears in an official Canadian trademark application filed in October 2021 by Shenzhen Tianyida Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. An original B71 product-information sheet names the same manufacturer and identifies that model as made in China. Together, these records trace the DARKBEAM name and the company identified on that product.

Our point of view is practical: good information should travel with the product. We explain wavelength choices, distinguish configuration types and give you a sensible next step. The guides develop those ideas through household inspection, fluorescent materials and lighting after dark. They help you understand what a tool can show you—and what it cannot establish on its own.

Make more of the light you choose

A fluorescent response is an observation, not a diagnosis. A bright-looking beam is not a complete performance measurement. A larger package is not automatically the right fit. We keep these distinctions close to the collection so you can make a choice you understand and use it more thoughtfully.

Explore a category, compare the selected versions and look closely at the photographs. Then use the relevant guide to prepare for the task. Whether you want to see an overlooked detail or simply keep both hands on your work, DARKBEAM offers more ways to bring the right light along.

11 / BEFORE YOU SWITCH ON

Your next task.
Better prepared.

A useful light deserves a simple routine.

  1. Choose the right mode. White for ordinary visibility; UV for fluorescent observation; IR only with compatible equipment.
  2. Check the power. Use the correct battery or charging connection and inspect the light before use.
  3. Control the beam. Keep UV and infrared away from eyes and skin. Point visible light considerately.
  4. Know the next step. Interpret observations in context and follow the instructions for the object or task.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Clear answers.
Before you choose.

Is 365nm always better than 395nm?

No. The material, filtering, output and surrounding light all affect the response. Compare the wavelength to your task, then consider the exact flashlight.

Can UV tell me exactly what a stain is?

No. Many materials and residues fluoresce. Use UV as an observation tool and inspect the area in ordinary light before deciding what to do.

Do these lights share the same charger and battery?

No. Connections and battery requirements vary. Check the selected configuration and its instructions.

Where do I complete my purchase?
